Sheffield University Transport Innovation Centre ‘Jobs of the Future and Intelligent Mobility’ Event

8th November 2016.  Tuesday the 8th of November saw Sheffield University Transport Innovation Centre host its first ever Intelligent Mobility themed schools outreach event. Over 80 students from across South Yorkshire attend the event.

The purpose of this event was to inspire and inform students interested in STEM subjects to see what the future holds in terms of Intelligent Mobility and all the jobs centred around it.

The event was opened by guest speaker Dr Yolande Herbeth, Programme Director at the Transport Systems Catapult.

The students then participated in 3 interactive activities: Virtual Reality, Robotics and Aerodynamics.
